WHY ORDER A COMMISSION?
To commission a piece of art is a unique way to capture a memory in an artist’s style that you love! Anyone can print out a photo to frame and keep forever, but displaying art customized for you is an incredible way to support an artist as well as have a piece that can be talked about for many years to come.
The most popular commission service I offer is wedding related — capturing the intricate details of the bridal gown that photos didn’t capture; the bride and groom sharing a moment on the greatest day of their lives . I work one on one with my clients to create an artwork they can frame and relive forever. This makes the most thoughtful gift to give the ones you love the most — is your anniversary coming up?
WHAT IS THE PROCESS?
First and foremost, fill out the contact form below and mention “commission” in the subject. Instead of putting an event date, please add the date in which you would need the commission to be completed and delivered to you. Instead of including the venue, write in “commission”.
From your initial submission, I will take in any details you mention and contact you as soon as possible to begin the brainstorming process. We will discuss back and forth exactly what you're envisioning so that I can bring it to life.
Please only consider a commission piece if you already like my art style
Please allow at least one month in advance before the desired due date
WHAT IS THE COST?
Commission costs are dependent on a lot of factors: is it gown only, how many figures, what size/ weight of paper, would you like it delivered already framed, etc.
These are all details that we will discuss, so don’t worry about having all of these answered before you submit your request.
Pricing for a commission piece begins at $300
I will walk you through pricing once communication begins. A non-refundable deposit of 50% is due at the start of my work and the final payment due before shipment.
WILL I GET TO SEE THE PROCESS?
Upon completion of your commission, I will deliver you with a full Timelapse video of the art process. During the process of my artwork, I expect full trust in my art style and ability to provide you with your vision.
This is the reason I highly encourage you to research my artwork before hiring me for a commission, as my art style will not change. I will gladly work with your vision and bring to life what you are envisioning, but in my own art style.
For example: My proportions will remain consistent with previous works, and I will not use a medium that differs from what I am comfortable with. This is for the sake of ensuring the quality of your finished piece.
