Q: What is the cost of Live Fashion Illustration?
A: Please contact me for rates by submitting a form below. Please see the Live Illustration tab to look at the different services I offer that would best suit your needs. I require a 4 hour minimum for events in the Long Island area, 5 hour minimum outside of Long Island area. A non-refundable deposit is due to secure your date.
Q: How long does each illustration take?
A: Depending on the details and flow of the wedding/ event, full color sketches take an average of 5-7 minutes to illustrate each person and 10-12 minutes to illustrate each couple. There are different approaches to my illustrations to better suit your individual needs, which are thoroughly explained in the Live Illustration tab for you!
Q: How many people can you guarantee will be drawn at my event? What if you do not finish drawing all of my guests?
A: The number of people I can sketch at an event may vary. With that being said, I work at a steady pace and ensure I complete an appropriate amount of sketches for the time allotted. I offer an add-on package to any of my services: If you would like me to complete all guest requests, I will finish them at home and deliver them to you within 2 weeks. These can then be distributed personally to your guests by you or sent with Thank You cards.
Q: Do you travel?
A: Yes! I am based in New York, I can travel worldwide to illustrate for your event. Additional travel fees will be discussed and agreed upon at the time of booking, including but not limited to: ground transportation, airfare, lodging,
Q: Can the paper be customized?
A: Absolutely! Send me the logo, artwork, or phrase that you would like to be added to the paper and I will have it professionally printed before illustrating your event. Please be sure to provide 60 day notice before your event so that I can guarantee quality. Additional fees apply.
Q: How does the booking process work?
A: Depending on my availability, I can be booked anywhere from 2 weeks to 18 months in advance. My calendar is very limited and fills up very quickly, so I recommend reaching out as soon as possible. Fill out the submission form below and provide details including: wedding date, location, and time. I will respond as soon as possible!
Q: Will our guests have to sit very still for a long time?
A: Your guests won’t have to sit at all! Anyone who wants a custom illustration will have their picture taken and I will use that photo as reference. This way they can go enjoy the party, never miss a beat, and come back later to pick up their finished sketch!
Q: Do our guests get to take their illustrations home with them?
A: Of course! Each sketch that I am able to complete in the time allotted will be wrapped up and ready to be picked up by your guests! I can add in additional goodies for an upgrade, such as personalized stickers or a note from the bride and groom.
Q: Do you mind if people watch you draw?
A: I will never mind if guests would like to watch me draw! My table can be set up wherever you would like it, whether that be in a private space or out in the open!
Q: Do you draw the bride and groom?
A: I will illustrate the bride and groom on a separate day to ensure the artwork is thoroughly detailed and not rushed. This artwork will be done on 9x12 paper (as opposed to the 5x7 for the guests), framed, and then mailed to you within 2 weeks of your wedding day.
Q: Which package would best suit my wedding day?
A: Depending on the size of your wedding/ event will determine how many hours I should be present on site to ensure the majority, if not all, requested illustrations can be completed. For a wedding with 60-80 guests, 4 hours is recommended. 100+ guests, 5-6 hours is recommended. For 200+ guests, I recommend adding on the finish-at-home package and have the remaining illustrations sent by mail after the wedding to ensure guest satisfaction. These can then be handed out personally by you, or sent with the thank you cards!
Q: What is your cancellation policy?
A: Cancellation must be made 60 days before the event. The deposit is non-refundable.
